    Our jewelry is made in homes and small workshops in remote areas of the Navajo and Zuni Native American reservations of New Mexico and Arizona.

    The Navajo and Zuni tribes have been famous for their jewelry artistry since the late 1800's. The Navajo tribe is known for producing detailed and elaborate Sterling Silver pieces. Zuni artists are famous for their fine stone cutting which allows for intricate inlay designs and unique channel set patterns.

    Both tribes are located in the western New Mexico and Arizona desert. This area is home to 350,000 indigenous people, many of whom struggle to find resources and opportunity in this sparsely populated area of extreme desert terrain.

    Fortunately, both the Navajo and Zuni have a rich artistic culture that has been passed down to each generation. Today, over half of all families on the reservation have at least one family member producing handmade art for sale. We are proud to support these artists by developing collaborative projects that provide employment through the artistic expression of their culture.

    Our turquoise comes from famous regional turquoise mines in the American Southwest. Our artists often use turquoise from the Sleeping Beauty Mine (Globe, AZ, USA) and the Kingman Turquoise Mine (Kingman, AZ, USA), but turquoise from many other regional mines is represented in our collection.

    Our jewelry is made of solid 925 Sterling Silver, which is the industry standard for jewelry making. Our pieces are marked with a Sterling Silver designation unless the piece is too small to be stamped. In addition to working with reputable artists, all of our pieces are verified as Sterling Silver by an independent in-house silversmith. 

    Yes, most of our pieces are signed by the artist with the exception of few styles that are too small to be signed.  We would be happy to answer any specific questions about artist identification. Click Here to ask us a question about a particular artist.

    Our pieces are handmade in small batches, so they frequently sell out! To receive an alert when a new batch is available, please enter your email on the product page. Our system will automatically send you an email notification letting you know that the piece is once again available for purchase.

    Returns/Shipping

    Yes!  We ship internationally to any of the 190 countries served by the United States Postal Service! We offer free First Class International Shipping to all orders over $150! All rates are are calculated at checkout.

    USPS First Class International Service (7-21 days)

    USPS Priority Mail International Service (6-10 days)

    Please Note: Orders that are shipped to international countries may be subject to custom duties or import taxes once the shipment reaches your country. Customers are responsible for these costs and we recommend checking with your local customs office for more information.

    All of our orders are shipped out within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.

    Once your order has shipped, our system will automatically email a USPS tracking number to you. The shipment status can be checked at USPS.com.

    We only ship through the United States Postal Service at this time. We do not offer FedEx or UPS service.
